Job Summary
The position entails taking charge of financial operations which include reporting, auditing, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and strategic financial planning. The successful candidate will provide advice to the President, executive team, and Board, while also managing the Associate Director of Finance and Facilities Manager. Additionally, the role involves overseeing facilities, fleet management, technology, and associated risks and investments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate financial operations and strategic planning.
- Provide expert financial advice to senior leadership and the Board.
- Supervise the Associate Director of Finance and Facilities Manager.
- Oversee facilities management, fleet operations, and technology investments.
- Manage risks associated with financial and operational resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Demonstrated financial leadership and staff management capabilities.
- Active CPA license is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit financial practices.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to supervise facilities, fleet operations, or outsourced IT services.
