Job Summary
This role involves overseeing the complete revenue portfolio for designated client or partner groups. Key tasks include account management, billing processes, electronic invoicing, collections, cash application, forecasting, and inventory oversight. The position requires effective collaboration with attorneys, clients, and finance departments to troubleshoot issues, ensure adherence to billing protocols, enhance procedures, and mentor less experienced team members.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the revenue portfolio for assigned client/partner pods.
- Oversee account setup, billing practices, e-billing, collections, and cash application.
- Forecast revenue and manage inventory processes effectively.
- Collaborate with legal teams, clients, and finance to address and resolve operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with established billing requirements.
- Work on improving billing processes and procedures.
- Train and mentor team members within the pod.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in billing or revenue cycle management within a law firm environment.
- Proficient in financial systems and Excel, with comprehensive knowledge of the revenue lifecycle.
- Ability to lead teams and effectively resolve complex operational challenges.
- Strong communication skills and capacity to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
