Job Summary
The Hospice Aide is responsible for delivering essential personal care to patients, ensuring their comfort and hygiene needs are met. This involves tasks such as bathing, grooming, and providing assistance with mobility. In addition, the role includes repositioning patients for their comfort and keeping the living space clean by changing bed linens.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care including bathing and grooming.
- Support patients with mobility and ambulation as needed.
- Reposition patients to ensure comfort and prevent discomfort.
- Maintain a clean environment by regularly changing bed linens.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current Home Health Aide (HHA) license in the State of California.
- A valid driver’s license is essential.
- Appropriate automobile insurance is required for the position.
