Job Summary
The Bilingual Medical Assistant will provide essential support in a healthcare setting, focusing on delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care and managing daily operations.
- Ensure effective communication with patients by catering to those who speak different languages.
- Record and maintain patient information accurately in electronic health records.
- Schedule appointments and manage follow-up activities for patients.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist during procedures as needed.
- Manage inventory and supply levels for medical equipment and supplies.
- Provide administrative support, including answering phones and responding to patient inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program is preferred.
- Certification in Medical Assisting (CMA or RMA) is a plus.
- Proficiency in both English and another language is necessary.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach toward patient care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare procedures is advantageous.
