The Process Engineer is responsible for the development and enhancement of injection molding processes, ensuring compliance with quality benchmarks and industry best practices. This role involves working closely with various teams to oversee new mold trials, resolve manufacturing challenges, and establish sustainable process enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine injection molding processes.
- Ensure quality standards are consistently met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for new mold sampling.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues as they arise.
- Implement long-term process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in plastic processing.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software.
- Knowledge of scientific molding techniques.
- Experience with robot programming.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
