Job Summary
The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the general ledger.
- Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with accounting principles.
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting activities.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
- Proficient with accounting software and financial modeling tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
