Job Summary
The Line Technician III plays a vital role in our manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the efficiency of production lines by troubleshooting equipment, performing repairs, and implementing preventative maintenance protocols. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a strong foundation in manufacturing processes, enabling them to ensure operational productivity and safety.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of production equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Perform necessary repairs and part replacements to maintain line efficiency.
- Implement and uphold preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Collaborate with production supervisors and other team members to enhance workflows.
- Document maintenance activities and equipment performance metrics for analysis.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices in all maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or related field.
- Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including possible overtime.
