The assistant machine operator is responsible for safely assisting with machine setup, operation, and cleanup to meet production demands. They must also maintain equipment, perform housekeeping duties, and complete accurate production and quality reports. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting up to 50 pounds. Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is preferred, along with strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
