Job Summary
The Product Engineering Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management of proprietary equipment packages, overseeing all stages from the development of technical specifications through vendor selection to the processes of installation and commissioning. This role serves as the key point of accountability, ensuring that equipment aligns with process requirements while effectively managing timelines, budgets, and technical interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of equipment packages.
- Develop technical specifications and select appropriate vendors.
- Manage installation and commissioning processes.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements for timelines and budgets.
- Act as the primary liaison for technical interfaces.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Chemical/Process Engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project or equipment engineering within industrial settings.
- Strong technical skills in interpreting P&IDs and GA drawings.
- Proven ability to manage vendors and navigate complex project lifecycles.
