Job Summary
The role involves assisting healthcare professionals by accurately documenting patient interactions as a medical scribe. This position requires collaboration with clinicians in the Emergency Department, supporting them throughout their shifts.
Responsibilities
- Document clinical encounters in real-time as directed by physicians and healthcare providers.
- Work closely with clinicians in the Emergency Department to ensure comprehensive record-keeping.
- Maintain professionalism and maturity in high-pressure environments.
- Commit to working 2-3 shifts per week, including weekends and holidays.
- Stand and walk for extended periods to fulfill job requirements.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated passion for medicine and healthcare.
- Strong writing skills and quick, accurate typing abilities.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is advantageous.
- Ability to commit to a continuous one-year engagement at the clinical site.
