Job Summary
This position is responsible for guiding multidisciplinary engineering teams in the organization and implementation of avionics development initiatives, ensuring that projects are completed timely and within financial constraints. The individual will act as the main technical contact for stakeholders, overseeing project risks, scope, and performance, utilizing Earned Value Management techniques.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional engineering teams for avionics projects.
- Ensure project completion is on schedule and adheres to budget constraints.
- Serve as the key technical liaison for stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project risks and scope effectively.
- Apply Earned Value Management principles to assess performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience in project engineering within aerospace systems.
- Possession or willingness to obtain a PMP or CAPM certification within six months of employment.
- Must meet U.S. Person requirements.
