Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all machinery and equipment operate smoothly and efficiently. This role encompasses diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and conducting routine maintenance to minimize downtime. The technician will work within a team to maintain safety standards and achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular inspections and maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose mechanical failures and troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
  • Conduct repairs in accordance with safety procedures and operational guidelines.
  • Utilize tools and equipment safely and responsibly in daily tasks.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
  • Proven experience in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand electrical schematics.
  • Basic knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in industrial environments.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
