Job Summary
This role involves supporting the supervisor in the execution of daily production activities. Responsibilities include distributing tasks, training team members, covering shifts, and operating necessary equipment. The position focuses on achieving production goals while adhering to product standards, sanitation protocols, safety regulations, and compliance with GMP, HACCP, and other regulatory mandates, as well as recognizing areas for process enhancement.
Responsibilities
- Assist the supervisor in daily production tasks.
- Allocate work among team members and conduct training.
- Provide coverage during shifts and operate machinery as required.
- Ensure that production targets and product specifications are consistently met.
- Maintain compliance with sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least four years of experience in manufacturing or production, preferably in the dairy or consumer goods sector.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Problem-solving and computer proficiency.
- Capability to work autonomously and adapt to changes.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
