Job Summary
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) plays a crucial role in assessing patient conditions, delivering Basic Life Support (BLS), and ensuring that emergency vehicles and their equipment are in optimal working order. This position requires precise documentation of ambulance responses and active collaboration with paramedic partners during Advanced Life Support (ALS) interventions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations to determine the necessary medical care.
- Administer Basic Life Support techniques as required.
- Ensure emergency vehicles and medical equipment are fully stocked and ready for service.
- Accurately document ambulance services and calls.
- Assist paramedics during Advanced Life Support procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid EMT licensure issued by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.
- Class E or higher chauffeur driver license.
- A high school diploma or equivalent educational experience is preferred.
