Job Summary
The role involves spearheading the upgrade of the FortiWeb management user interface, transitioning from outdated frameworks to Angular and React, as well as adopting a micro-frontend architecture. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of frontend structures and the application of best practices in collaboration with backend, UX/UI, and DevOps personnel, while also providing guidance to junior developers.
Responsibilities
- Drive the modernization of the FortiWeb management interface.
- Migrate from legacy frameworks to modern Angular and React frameworks.
- Implement a micro-frontend architecture to enhance modularity.
- Establish best practices for frontend architecture.
- Work collaboratively with backend, UX/UI, and DevOps teams.
- Mentor and support junior engineering staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in frontend development.
- At least three years of hands-on experience with Angular or React and TypeScript.
- Proven record of leading significant modernization initiatives.
- Deep understanding of micro-frontend architectures and enterprise application patterns.
- Strong experience in security principles and performance optimization.
