Job Summary
The CMM Programmer is responsible for programming and utilizing coordinate measuring machines to perform precise dimensional inspections, including first article and final assessments of aerospace components. This role involves partnering with Quality Engineering teams to tackle root-cause analysis and ensuring adherence to AS9100 and AS9102 documentation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Program and operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for dimensional inspections.
- Conduct first article and final inspections of aerospace components.
- Work with Quality Engineering on root-cause investigations.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 and AS9102 documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant technical training.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in CMM programming and metrology.
- Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and blueprint reading.
- Familiarity with CMM software, specifically Calypso.
- Adept in functioning effectively within a manufacturing environment.
