Job Summary
The Leasing Consultant is responsible for conducting community tours, engaging with prospective residents, and overseeing the leasing process from the application stage through to the move-in period. This role aims to enhance occupancy rates through effective marketing and outreach initiatives while ensuring compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct tours of the community for potential residents.
- Follow up with prospective residents to facilitate the leasing process.
- Manage the entire leasing process, from application submission to move-in.
- Provide responsive assistance and service to both prospects and existing residents.
- Support marketing and outreach endeavors to boost community visibility.
- Collaborate effectively with office staff and service teams.
- Adhere to company policies as well as Fair Housing guidelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of sales experience is mandatory.
- Experience in multifamily property management is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, including conflict-resolution and customer service abilities.
- Familiarity with Yardi software is beneficial.
- A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of relevant experience is required.
