Job Summary
This role involves responding to emergency calls to deliver urgent care to patients facing critical health issues or injuries, all while overseeing the maintenance of the transport vehicle. The position requires thorough documentation of patient treatments and effective communication with medical personnel and staff at healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide immediate medical care to critically ill or injured individuals during transport.
- Ensure the transport vehicle remains in proper working condition and is well-maintained.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and promptly.
- Communicate efficiently with medical direction and hospital staff regarding patient status and care protocols.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must have relevant EMT or AEMT certification.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license for a minimum of two years.
- Ability to obtain EMSVO certification.
