Job Summary
The Senior Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe functioning, upkeep, and repair of the organization’s machinery, utilities, and facilities. This position also involves providing support in project specifications for new equipment and serving as a technical contact for contractors on-site.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the safe operation and scheduled maintenance of all machinery.
- Conduct repairs on various equipment and utilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with project teams to assist in specifying requirements for new machinery.
- Act as a technical liaison for external contractors working on-site.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols while performing maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; a 2-year technical degree with journeyman status is acceptable.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
- Strong proficiency in working with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to perform in a physically demanding work environment.
