Job Summary
We are currently looking for meticulous Surgical Technologists to become part of our dedicated Operating Room (OR) team in Glens Falls, New York. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring efficient workflows within the surgical setting, directly contributing to patient care.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a sterile field to ensure patient safety during surgical procedures.
- Assist in the positioning of patients prior to operations.
- Prepare and organize surgical instruments and supplies.
- Support the surgical team by anticipating their needs throughout the procedure.
- Handle sharp instruments and ensure safety in the operating room environment.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
- Experience in operating room procedures is preferred.
