Job Summary
The Director of Shared Services is tasked with managing the transactional finance operations, which encompass accounts receivable, accounts payable, and month-end closing for all divisions within the organization. This leadership role focuses on directing the accounting team, integrating automation solutions, and maintaining precise financial reporting and controls.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the end-to-end processes of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Lead the month-end closing procedures across various business units.
- Supervise the accounting team to ensure effective operations and team development.
- Implement and manage automation systems to enhance efficiency in financial processes.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and adherence to financial controls.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Proficient in ERP systems and possess experience with internal controls.
