Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is tasked with evaluating, organizing, and delivering expert nursing care in the Emergency Department at Lakeview Hospital. This role involves the coordination of patient care services and assistance with various diagnostic procedures while supervising unlicensed staff members.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their needs.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Perform nursing procedures within the scope of emergency care.
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of patient care services.
- Assist healthcare team members with diagnostic procedures.
- Provide guidance and supervision to unlicensed personnel.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing is required.
- Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license in Minnesota.
- BLS certification is a must, with additional certs like ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS to be completed within designated timeframes post-hire.
