Job Summary
This role focuses on leading multifaceted projects within the refining, chemical, terminal, and power generation industries. The individual will be responsible for managing project execution, tracking budgets and schedules, ensuring quality, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. The position also requires effective coordination with the current team and fostering strong client relationships, which may involve traveling for field activities or site assessments as needed.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution of complex projects in the relevant sectors.
- Monitor and manage project budgets to ensure financial control.
- Develop and track project schedules to meet established timelines.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout project lifecycle.
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with clients for ongoing project success.
- Coordinate with team members to align project efforts and strategies.
- Travel for fieldwork or site visits as necessitated by project requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the energy sector or consulting.
- At least two years of experience in managing engineering projects.
- Proven capability to manage project costs, budgets, and timelines.
- Strong experience in building and maintaining client relationships.
- PMP certification and a Professional Engineer license are advantageous.
