Job Summary
We are in search of a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to offer temporary assistance to our accounting team. This role will involve helping to manage a backlog of invoices and documents while simultaneously supporting the ongoing accounts payable operations.
Responsibilities
- Process around 120 invoices weekly
- Assist in clearing an existing accounts payable and document backlog
- Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
- Conduct manual invoice and data entry within Epicor
- Support daily accounts payable processing tasks
- Review and reconcile accounts payable information using Excel
- Identify discrepancies and verify the accuracy of invoice information prior to processing
- Ensure organized and precise accounts payable documentation
- Function autonomously while collaborating with the accounting team as necessary
Qualifications
- Prior experience in Accounts Payable is a must
- Experience with three-way matching is highly preferred
- Previous Accounts Payable experience in a manufacturing context is strongly encouraged
- Ability to manage a high volume of invoices and documentation is essential
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel; advanced capabilities are not essential
- Experience with Epicor is beneficial but not mandatory
- Capacity to quickly grasp processes and operate independently with minimal ramp-up time
- Strong organizational skills and effective time management
