Job Summary
The Behavioral Support Specialist is dedicated to providing individualized support to clients, helping them overcome behavioral challenges and achieve their personal goals. This role involves a comprehensive understanding of various behavioral interventions and strategies to promote positive behavioral change.
Responsibilities
- Assess clients’ needs and develop tailored behavior intervention plans.
- Implement behavioral strategies and monitor clients’ progress towards goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on effective behavioral support techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience in behavioral support or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of behavioral theories and intervention methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and professionals.
