Job description
Job Summary
The BIM Designer plays a crucial role in the project design process by utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies. This position is responsible for creating, managing, and modifying 3D models and drawings to enhance project development and collaboration among various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D models using BIM software to support project design and analysis.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure design accuracy and coherence.
- Conduct regular model reviews and updates to reflect project changes and client feedback.
- Generate 2D drawings and documentation from 3D models for construction and project execution.
- Assist in coordinating project information and resolve design conflicts through effective communication.
- Implement best practices for BIM processes and workflows within the project team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in BIM technologies and software, such as Revit or similar applications.
- Strong understanding of architectural and engineering principles.
- Excellent visualization skills and attention to detail.
- Effective teamwork and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
