Job Summary
The Building Engineer plays a crucial role in maintaining and repairing various systems within the facility, including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems. This position is vital in ensuring that all building functions adhere to safety regulations and incorporates preventive maintenance strategies to enhance the efficiency of equipment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations in all building operations.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment performance.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or a diploma from a trade school.
- 4-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform duties such as climbing ladders.
- Universal CFC certification is preferred.
