Job Summary
The Brain Injury Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting individuals dealing with cognitive and behavioral challenges resulting from brain injuries. This position focuses on delivering specialized interventions that help clients cope with their conditions and enhance their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to identify cognitive and behavioral deficits in clients.
- Develop and implement tailored rehabilitation plans based on individual needs.
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions and support for clients and their families.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed.
- Educate clients and caregivers about brain injury management strategies.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Experience in cognitive-behavioral therapy and rehabilitation practices.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills for brain injury recovery.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Certification in brain injury rehabilitation is preferred.
