The position of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant involves supporting the Occupational Therapist in activities related to resident care and delivering direct services. This role entails cooperating with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate residents in reaching their utmost independence. Applicants are required to possess a valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license from the State of California and have completed an accredited educational program. While experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute environment is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
