Job Summary
The Commercial Painter is responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces in commercial settings, ensuring high-quality standards and customer satisfaction. This role involves preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and utilizing various tools and techniques to achieve the desired aesthetic and protective results.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling imperfections.
- Mix paints and coatings according to specifications.
- Apply paint, stains, and finishes with precision using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner while adhering to safety standards.
- Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed to maintain quality.
- Maintain tools and equipment in optimal condition.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a commercial painter or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
