Job Summary
The role of the CT Technologist involves providing high-quality imaging services using CT technology during the mid and second shifts. This position is essential for ensuring accurate diagnostic imaging that supports effective patient care. The technologist will work closely with medical staff and patients, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images as per physician requests.
- Prepare patients for scans, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
- Adhere to safety protocols and standard operating procedures to minimize radiation exposure.
- Maintain and manage imaging technology, ensuring equipment is functioning optimally.
- Collaborate with medical teams to review imaging requisitions and provide necessary insights.
- Document imaging procedures and maintain accurate records of patient data and imaging results.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist with specialized training in CT imaging.
- State licensure to practice as a CT Technologist.
- Strong understanding of imaging techniques and protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork.
- Ability to operate complex imaging machinery and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
- Flexibility to work mid and second shifts as scheduled.
