**Dental Assistant II**
The Dental Assistant II plays a crucial role in supporting dental practitioners through a variety of clinical and administrative responsibilities. Their duties encompass patient care, preparation of dental instruments, and performing diagnostic radiographs. Additionally, they ensure the clinic is clean, manage the inventory of dental supplies, and maintain adherence to infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations.
Applicants should have a high school diploma and a valid Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) or Expanded Functions Preventive Dental Assistant (EPDA) certification with proficiency in radiology. While graduation from a dental assisting program or at least one year of relevant experience is preferred, strong communication abilities and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team are essential.
