Job description
**Director of Toxicology**
The Director of Toxicology will spearhead the organization’s strategies in toxicology and safety pharmacology to connect research discoveries with clinical development processes. Responsibilities include the management of nonclinical studies, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and cultivating relationships with contract research organizations (CROs). Applicants should possess a PhD, MD/PhD, or DVM, complemented by a minimum of 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical sector focused on toxicology. A robust understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), International Council for Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines, and experience in regulatory submissions such as Investigational New Drug (IND) applications and New Drug Applications (NDA) is essential.
