Job Summary
The primary objective of this role is to provide strategic guidance and accountability support to the Camp Operations Director, ensuring the effective implementation of resident camping and outdoor enrichment initiatives. This position involves overseeing operational efficiency, monitoring financial performance, ensuring safety standards within facilities, and aligning activities with YMCA objectives.
Responsibilities
- Offer strategic oversight and counsel to the Camp Operations Director.
- Ensure the success of resident camping and outdoor enrichment programs.
- Monitor and evaluate operational performance and financial health.
- Maintain a safe environment within camp facilities.
- Align camp operations with the broader organizational goals of the YMCA.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business, human services, or a closely related field.
- At least 6 years of progressive supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated executive leadership capabilities.
- Strong financial management skills.
- A proven track record in the development of camping or outdoor education programs.
