**Job Title: Geospatial Mapping Specialist**
The Geospatial Mapping Specialist is responsible for the upkeep and enhancement of digital cadastral and geospatial maps, ensuring precise property boundary data through the processing of legal descriptions. This role involves researching historical records and working closely with internal stakeholders to facilitate property valuation processes and uphold the integrity of GIS applications. Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, or a related discipline, and prior experience in land records or property appraisal is preferred. Essential skills include proficiency in GIS software like ArcGIS or QGIS and the capability to interpret complex legal land descriptions accurately.
