Job Summary
The Graduate Cardiovascular Technologist position is designed for those who have completed their education in cardiovascular technology and are eager to embark on a professional journey. This role primarily focuses on supporting cardiovascular care by assisting in various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in performing diagnostic imaging procedures related to the cardiovascular system.
- Support healthcare providers during invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular tests.
- Accurately prepare and maintain equipment for cardiovascular examinations.
- Document patient information and test results meticulously to ensure proper record-keeping.
- Communicate with patients to explain procedures and provide comfort during examinations.
- Participate in maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited cardiovascular technology program.
- Valid certification or eligibility for certification in cardiovascular technology.
- Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
