Job Summary
The HR Generalist for Skilled Nursing will serve as a key partner within The Heights of Atascosa, located in Jourdanton, Texas. This position emphasizes the significant contribution of human resources to the operational success of the facility, addressing various tasks that encompass talent acquisition, compliance, payroll, employee relations, and daily HR functions. The role is designed for those with a solid background in healthcare or skilled nursing environments, focusing on managing the HR operations efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and facilitate the recruitment process and onboarding of new employees.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Administer payroll functions and ensure accurate processing.
- Manage employee relations and address any HR-related inquiries.
- Support the HR department in daily operational tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist, particularly within healthcare or skilled nursing contexts.
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
