Job Summary
The primary role of the Quality Inspector is to uphold the quality standards of processes and products within a designated functional area by utilizing both mechanical and visual inspection tools. This position is critical in documenting inspection outcomes and ensuring effective communication with both manufacturing and quality teams.
Responsibilities
- Utilize mechanical and visual inspection equipment to assess the quality of processes and products.
- Document and maintain comprehensive records of inspection findings.
- Communicate observations and results clearly with manufacturing and quality staff.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift weights up to 40lbs.
- Must meet specific vision requirements, including near and color vision.
