Job Summary
The IP Litigation Paralegal plays a critical role in supporting legal professionals with intellectual property litigation, conducting essential research, managing case files, and assisting in trial preparations. This position demands strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all legal documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
- Conduct legal research related to intellectual property laws and litigation processes.
- Manage and organize case files, including discovery materials and evidence documentation.
- Draft and review various legal documents and correspondence.
- Maintain communication with clients, witnesses, and experts to coordinate case activities.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.
- Prepare trial exhibits and assist in the presentation of materials during trials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a legal setting.
- Previous experience as a paralegal, preferably in the area of IP litigation.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, concepts, and procedural requirements.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in legal software and tools as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
