Job Summary
The Janitorial Cleaner is crucial in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment across various facilities. This role requires dedication to quality cleaning practices and attention to detail while adhering to health and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Maintain restrooms by sanitizing fixtures and replenishing supplies.
- Ensure floors, walls, and surfaces are free from dust and debris.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables appropriately and ensure proper waste management.
- Report maintenance needs or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures, optimizing cleaning processes when necessary.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a janitorial or cleaning role is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
