Job Summary
The Lab Quality and Assurance position in Springfield is centered around maintaining the integrity and compliance of laboratory processes. The individual will play a crucial role in implementing quality assurance protocols that ensure the laboratory meets industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and enhance lab quality control systems to guarantee compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of laboratory practices for adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to provide training on quality assurance processes.
- Investigate any discrepancies or quality issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Compile and present quality assurance reports to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Biology, Chemistry, or Quality Management.
- Previous experience in laboratory quality assurance or a similar role.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in laboratory settings.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications in quality management systems are a plus.
