Job description
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Part-Time Youth Dance Instructor to join our team. This role will focus on providing dynamic and engaging dance instruction to young students as part of our School Day Program. The ideal candidate will inspire students through their love for dance and contribute positively to their artistic growth.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality dance instruction to youth in various styles.
- Develop lesson plans that are age-appropriate and cater to different skill levels.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with other teaching artists and staff to enhance the program.
Qualifications
- Experience teaching dance to children and adolescents.
- Strong proficiency in at least one dance style.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage students and cultivate a love for movement.
- Background in performing arts or education is a plus.
