Job description
**Lead Direct Support Professional**
The Lead Direct Support Professional is responsible for delivering direct care and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them with everyday living tasks and promoting community involvement. This position also involves taking charge during shifts, managing staff schedules, and ensuring adherence to organizational guidelines and health regulations. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. and have a minimum of one year of paid experience in providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities. Furthermore, candidates must hold a valid driver’s license and complete the necessary DSP and RBT certifications within designated deadlines.
