Job Summary
The primary function of this role is to oversee the daily operations of the fabrication department. This involves managing production timelines, ensuring that quality benchmarks are achieved in the creation of channel letters and signage, and training personnel in best practices and safety measures.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily activities in the fabrication department to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate and optimize production schedules for efficiency.
- Maintain quality control standards to meet organizational requirements for signage production.
- Provide training and guidance to team members, promoting skill development.
- Enforce adherence to safety protocols within the manufacturing environment.
- Engage in hands-on activities including fabrication, welding, and assembly.
Qualifications
- Experience in the fabrication of channel letters or related sign manufacturing.
- Strong skills in metal fabrication and welding techniques.
- Adeptness at interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Leadership experience is advantageous for overseeing team dynamics.
