Job Summary
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – PD is responsible for providing essential nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care. This role entails working in various settings to deliver treatments, administer medications, and assist with patient evaluations.
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and perform treatment procedures as directed.
- Monitor and record patient vitals and progress.
- Assist in the assessment of patient conditions and assist in creating care plans.
- Provide compassionate support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and efficient documentation of care provided.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
