Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for managing the upkeep and repair of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining a seamless operation within the organization by swiftly addressing maintenance issues and performing preventive measures.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine inspections and maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose malfunctions and resolve repair issues efficiently.
- Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure safety.
- Maintain records of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other team members to schedule and prioritize tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with various maintenance techniques and equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Relevant technical certifications would be an advantage.
