Med Surg/Tele RN- Contract
Location: Dubois, PA (Candidates must reside 50+ miles from facility to be considered)
Pay: Up to $2340/week
Duration: 23 weeks The Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nurse provides direct patient care to adults with complex medical conditions requiring cardiac monitoring. This role involves assessment, medication administration, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Med Surg /Tele RN Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
Administer medications (including IV drips) and treatments safely
Identify and respond to cardiac rhythm changes and emergencies
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and discharge planning
Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
Ensure adherence to hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety protocols
Med Surg /Tele RN Requirements:
PA or Compact License
Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
