**Job Title: Medical Records Technician II**
The Medical Records Technician II is responsible for the upkeep and modernization of both electronic and physical patient records, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves aiding healthcare providers in correcting documentation and addressing information requests while upholding patient confidentiality rigorously. Applicants should possess a minimum of one year of relevant experience in medical records and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. Familiarity with Electronic Health Records software, particularly Epic, is preferred. Additionally, certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) is desired.
