The supervisor is responsible for overseeing the mortgage underwriting and operational processes, ensuring that credit decisions are made promptly, accurately, and in compliance with regulations. This role includes managing the loan processing, closing, funding, and servicing functions, while fostering a culture of operational excellence and effective risk management. Applicants should possess a minimum of five years of experience in residential mortgage underwriting, along with three years in a supervisory capacity. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent background is necessary, as well as familiarity with loan origination systems and mortgage regulatory requirements.
