Job Summary

The MRI Technologist will perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures in an outpatient setting. This role involves executing high-quality imaging protocols, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Administer MRI scans while adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures to ensure optimal results.
  • Monitor patient well-being during imaging and provide necessary support.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment to guarantee its proper operation.
  • Document imaging processes and patient information accurately.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and patient care plans.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI.
  • Strong knowledge of MRI protocols and safety procedures.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well with patients and staff.
  • Prior experience in an outpatient MRI setting is preferred.
